Job summary

To provide a comprehensive clerical and administrative support to the manager and staff at Cottage View residential home.

To work on own initiative and demonstrate good communication skills and handling of sensitive information.

Main duties of the job
  • Planning and Design – diaries, appointments, filing, etc.
  • Non‑Clinical – assist the manager with all aspects of the facilities management.
  • Improvement and Monitoring – enter internal audits, coordinate works and maintenance for the home with the Estates team.
  • Clinical – liaise with pharmacy to order and schedule delivery of medication.
  • Finance and Budget – use Oracle for ordering supplies and other financial tasks.
  • Management Support – keep a check on staff training, PADR’s and DBS updates.
  • Digital and information – book residents and use the WCCIS system; update occupancy and reports for Powys County Council and Powys Health Board.
