Job summary

Haven in Prestonpans, Scotland, is seeking a hands-on General Maintenance Technician to service park facilities, perform inspections and carry out repairs to ensure guests enjoy a comfortable stay.

You will handle plumbing, carpentry, electrical tasks and routine upkeep, while maintaining safety standards and detailed records. The role supports both independent work and team collaboration, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in General Maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, etc.) is essential; qualifications in any related trade are a plus.
• Previous experience working on holiday homes is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good problem-solving skills.
• Full UK Driving License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections and maintenance tasks on park facilities, including plumbing, carpentry and general upkeep.
• Address minor repairs promptly, diagnose problems and provide effective solutions to keep facilities running smoothly.
• Conduct routine checks on key facilities and equipment to prevent issues and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, owners or team in a friendly, professional manner.
