Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Operative to join our team in Coventry. This hands-on role involves a variety of maintenance tasks across residential and/or commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a practical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and experience in general repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing tasks - fixing leaks, repairing toilets, and basic pipework.
• Furniture assembly - building and installing flat-pack furniture.
• Appliance repairs - troubleshooting and fixing household appliances such as dishwashers.
• General maintenance - minor electrical fixes, patching walls, door adjustments, and other ad hoc tasks.
• Health & Safety compliance - ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations.
• Reporting - documenting completed tasks and flagging any issues requiring further attention.

Requirements

• Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
• Basic plumbing and appliance repair skills.
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions.
