Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe in Rushmere is seeking an Accountant - General Ledger to join Financial Services. This varied role provides exposure to group reporting, technical accounting and cross-functional projects.

You will produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, perform balance sheet reconciliations, support disclosures, and assist with SOX controls and statutory reporting. ACA/ACCA/CIMA with 2+ PQE preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA certification and 2+ years PQE.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge including IFRS; US GAAP desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure data accuracy.
• Support group reporting and disclosures.
• Provide insight across revenue, costs and assets.
• Support SOX controls, audits and statutory reporting.
