Zusammenfassung

Axis CLC Group is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join its Group Finance team in the UK. You will manage the integrity of the general ledger, post journals, perform reconciliations and support month-end close.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will collaborate with Purchase Ledger, Payroll, FP&A and operations to ensure accurate reporting and robust controls. Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or studying and strong Excel skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA, or actively studying.
• Experience in General Ledger, Financial Accounting or Management Accounting.
• Strong month-end, journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
• Strong controls, accuracy and audit readiness.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of the integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and alignment with standards.
• Prepare, review and post journals, accruals, prepayments and other ledger adjustments.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items promptly.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses for senior management.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Payroll and FP&A to improve reporting quality.
