General Lawyer – Cybersecurity, Privacy, Data & AI Legal

As a General Lawyer on our team you will be part of Kyndryl's Cybersecurity, Privacy, Data & AI Legal team ("CPDA Legal"), a global cybersecurity, privacy, data, AI and regulatory legal team spread among the U.S., U.K. and four EU countries, supporting a dynamic global business. The role suits a candidate with an international outlook who can interact with legal and business colleagues around the globe on a variety of cybersecurity, privacy and regulatory matters.

Responsibilities
  • Work on a wide range of cybersecurity, privacy and related regulatory matters, including Incident Response and Investigation, Cybersecurity and Privacy Operations, Regulatory Compliance, and developing Policy & Strategy.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to business teams, including the CISO, the CSIRT, and relevant Global Practices, as well as members of the global legal department.
  • Manage and lead multi‑stakeholder incident investigative teams, providing proactive, creative and business‑centric advice and support.
  • Support the growth and professional development of yourself and others, prioritizing customer impact and maintaining a culture of trust, inclusivity and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • JD from an accredited law school or equivalent international law degree.
  • Licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction.
  • 5+ years of legal experience, either in‑house, with a law firm, or a combination of both.
  • Strong analytic and project management skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within diverse, multicultural legal and business teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Understanding of European and/or international cybersecurity, data security and privacy, AI, and cyber resiliency laws, principles and policies.
  • Experience in the IT, outsourcing, managed services provider or cloud computing industries.
  • Incident response experience.
  • Relevant experience or a degree in engineering, software, computer science or digital forensic fields.
  • Additional language skills.
