Job Title: General Labourer

Location: OL9, Oldham

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week) OR

Night shift Monday - Wednesday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Thursday 2pm - Midnight

Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team in Oldham. Our company specialises in manufacturing metal cabinets for the telecoms industry, and you will be supporting production by working with a range of metal components.

This is a hands‑on role in a busy workshop environment and would suit someone with previous experience working with metal parts or in a similar trade.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling, preparing, and finishing metal components
  • Using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
  • Assisting with polishing, fabrication, or welding tasks as required
  • Carrying out manual handling duties in line with health & safety guidelines
  • Supporting the wider production team to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • Previous experience in working with metal parts, fabrication, welding, polishing, or similar work
  • Confident in using power tools and hand tools
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
