Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Humber Street Cafe is seeking a Multi Skilled Worker to support daily operations across housekeeping, food preparation, meal service, and dishwashing in a care setting.

You will maintain resident rooms and kitchens, assist with meals and tray delivery, and follow health and safety guidelines. English proficiency required; valid Food Handler certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Experience in housekeeping and food services is an asset.
• Healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping duties such as maintaining the cleanliness of residents' rooms and common areas.
• Assist with food preparation, set up and cleanup of chairs & tables, serving meals, delivering trays to residents, dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Perform duties according to health & safety guidelines, report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately and other reasonable requests from management.

How you will make an impact:
You will be responsible for supporting our daily operations with a wide range of tasks such as cleaning, food preparation, serving meals, and dishwashing.

As a Multi Skilled Worker, you will:
