General Grounds & Cleansing Operative

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire

Contract type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £12.78

Working hours: Full time - 40 hours - 07:00 AM - 15:30 PM

About the role

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a General Grounds and Cleansing Operative for Trowbridge West. The successful candidate will assist in a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to grounds maintenance work, street cleansing, bin instalment and removal, traffic management, graffiti removal and litter picking.

Requirements

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or street cleansing.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Certification for chainsaws (CS30/Chainsaw Maintenance and Cross Cutting, CS31/Felling Small Trees), pesticide spraying (PA1/PA6), and traffic management (12D (M1/M1) would be highly advantageous, however, training will be provided if needed to the right candidate.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team, with a proactive nature.
• A thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
• A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
