Job summary

Randstad Education in Bristol is seeking a General Cover Teacher (QTS) to support secondary schools across the Bristol area. You can choose full-time cover or several days a week, teaching across subjects and year groups with minimal admin and no home-working requirements.

This role offers true flexibility and local assignments, with daily pay from £130 to £160 depending on experience, plus a reliable 8:30 AM start and ongoing safeguarding compliance.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent; ECTs welcome to apply.
• Strong classroom management with adaptable, positive and professional approach.
• Reliable and punctual for 8:30 AM start.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service (or willing to obtain).
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects in SS KS3 and KS4.
• Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive, productive learning environment.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.
• Leave detailed handovers and notes for returning subject teachers to ensure continuity.
