Job summary

• To be considered, you must be a Qualified Solicitor or Barrister (England & Wales).
• Extensive senior in-house legal experience within banking, building societies or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge of the regulatory framework for UK deposit-taking institutions, including PRA, FCA, SM&CR and Consumer Duty.
• Experience advising Boards and Executive Committees on complex legal, governance and strategic matters.
• Proven track record of leading legal support through organisational transformation.
• Strong corporate governance experience; Company Secretariat experience is advantageous.

This is a Board-facing leadership opportunity for an exceptional legal professional with significant experience operating within UK regulated financial services.
