Overview

As General Catering Assistant for Sodexo at Hagley Catholic High School, Brake Lane, Hagley, Brake Ln, Stourbridge DY8 2XL, you will be contributing towards the smooth running of a fast-paced food and beverage operation. You will be responsible for showcasing what the kitchen supplies, presenting it in the most eye-catching way possible, ensuring we are offering the best service possible. • Prepare delicious meals for our school team and pupils.
• Keep the kitchen and serving areas stocked, clean and hygienic always.
• Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles.
• Observe food handling and hygiene regulations.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.
• Always uphold the reputation of the company.
• Have a great sense of teamwork.
• Show that you can adopt a dedicated and orderly approach.
• Show that you can prioritise your work, handle pressure, and communicate well at all levels.
• Show impeccable punctuality and dependability.

• 17.5 hours per week
• Working pattern: Monday - Friday (10.30am - 2.00pm)
• Manual Driving License required to drive company Van occasionally
• Term Time only (39 week Working Contract paid over 52 weeks)
• Equated pay (spread-over pay) is a method of paying you for your contracted hours, working weeks and holiday pay spread over 12 months. Further information will be supplied at interview stage.
