A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a General Building Engineer for its HMP Humber facility. This role involves maintenance of safety systems like fire extinguishers and alarms, requiring experience in fire safety. We are excited to offer a permanent General Building Engineer role in HMP Humber, Sands Lane, Brough HU15 2JZ.
The standard hours of work are 39 per week, between 08:00 – 17:00 (finish at 16:00 on Friday). There is a requirement to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis, with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary. You will also be part of an on‑call rota for gritting, and you may be required to work on Christmas Day or New Year’s Day.
