Job summary

Everlast Gyms is hiring a General Assistant (Cleaner) to help maintain exceptional standards across the club, ensuring members enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

This 20-hour-per-week role involves cleaning all gym areas, studios and changing rooms, sanitising touchpoints, and supporting the wider team to deliver high standards every day.

Full training is provided and there are opportunities to progress into wider operational and customer-facing roles within the Frasers Group.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and reliability are essential.
• Ability to work independently within a team.
• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in cleaning or facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and safe chemical handling.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including studios and changing rooms.
• Sanitise touchpoints and surfaces to high standards.
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks.
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures.
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock needs.
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly.

The Role

As a General Assistant (Cleaner), you'll help maintain exceptional standards across all areas of the club, ensuring members always enjoy a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all gym areas, including fitness spaces, studios, changing rooms, showers and communal areas
• Ensure gym equipment, touchpoints and surfaces are sanitised and presented to the highest standard
• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and daily compliance checks
• Empty bins and manage waste disposal procedures
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report stock requirements
• Report maintenance issues and health and safety concerns promptly
• Support the wider club team in delivering an exceptional member experience
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety at all times

Your attention to detail will directly contribute to member satisfaction, club standards and the reputation of the Everlast Gyms brand.
