Barchester Healthcare is seeking a General Assistant to join our care home in the United Kingdom. You will contribute across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering to create a warm, homely environment for residents.

We value reliability, compassion and a can-do attitude. Training is provided, and you will have opportunities to develop your skills while delivering high-quality care and support to residents and their families.

• Carry out housekeeping across the home to maintain a clean, homely environment.
• Assist with catering and meal services as required.
• Support residents with daily activities and personal care where needed.
• Launder and manage laundry tasks and maintain cleanliness throughout the home.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you’ll carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering.
