Job summary

Barchester is seeking a General Assistant to help maintain a warm, homely environment for residents. You will contribute across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering, putting residents first with a caring, can-do approach.

Training will be provided to cover all required tasks, and you’ll have opportunities to develop your skills further while building strong, supportive relationships with residents and the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. It's because this is such a wide-reaching role that you'll be able to play your own part in creating a warm and homely environment.
