Job summary

Salford Council is seeking a General Assistant to support the Cook Supervisor in providing healthy, nutritious meals for the children of Salford. You will help with dining room setup, washing up, serving meals and some basic food preparation.

This part-time, term-time-only role offers 8.75 hours per week (Mon–Fri 11.45am–1.30pm). We provide competitive pay, the LGPS pension scheme, discounts, Cycle to Work, gym benefits and a health and wellbeing package.
