Job summary

Salford Council is seeking a General Assistant to support the Cook Supervisor in providing healthy meals for school children in Salford. You will help with setting up dining rooms, washing up, serving meals and basic food preparation.

The role is 10 hours per week during term time, with competitive pay and additional employee benefits. The post may require a DBS check and right to work verification as part of the interview process.

About the role
As a General Assistant you will assist the Cook Supervisor in providing healthy, nutritious meals for the children of Salford. Duties may include setting up of dining rooms, washing up, serving of food and some basic food preparation.
