Barchester Healthcare Homes Limited is seeking a General Assistant in the West of England region. You will help deliver high-quality care by handling housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering to create a warm, homely environment for residents.

The role includes reception duties, answering calls and greeting visitors, requiring strong customer service and smart presentation. A full-time schedule is available with alternating weekend shifts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. It's because this is such a wide-reaching role that you'll be able to play your own part in creating a warm and homely environment. Caring and empathetic, as a General Assistant you'll put our residents first and build the kind of positive professional relationships with them that make their experience with us happy and meaningful.

This role will include working on reception, answering the phone and greeting visitors to the home so requires good customer service and smart presentation. Full time 40 hrs per week including alternate weekend working.
