Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a General Service Assistant to join our team at HMP Bullingdon in Oxfordshire. The role primarily involves front-of-house duties, serving food and beverages, till work, and maintaining dining areas.

You will report to the on-site General Manager and contribute to a high standard of customer service. This part-time position is 20 hours per week (Mon–Fri), 0700–1400 shifts, with benefits including free meals on duty, parking, gym access, and Blue Light Membership.

Qualifications

• Previous customer facing/food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
• Been resident in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
• The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a General Service Assistant to join our team working at HMP Bullingdon.

As a General Service Assistant, you will mainly work front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

What you’ll do

• You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to, and excellent customer service is always provided.
• Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
• Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.
