Job summary

Barchester care home is looking for a General Assistant to help provide quality care and support for residents. You’ll perform a range of tasks across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering, contributing to a warm, homely environment and positive relationships with residents.

You’ll be reliable, compassionate and practical, able to turn your hand to different tasks. Training will be provided, and you’ll have opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the care home.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you\'ll carry out a range of tasks to help us provide the quality care and support our residents deserve. No two days will be the same as you take on diverse responsibilities across housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. It\'s because this is such a wide-reaching role that you\'ll be able to play your own part in creating a warm and homely environment.
