Job summary

A leading food service company is looking for a flexible Food Service Assistant to provide excellent table service and customer care in Retford. Working hours will be primarily Wednesday to Sunday, with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour. Ideal candidates will have experience in the food service industry, strong teamwork skills, and a passion for hospitality. This location is open Wednesday through to Sunday, weekend working will be required

Location: DN22 0QL Ollerton area

We are looking for a flexible worker to support us at our location in Ollerton, within this food you will be front of house offering a personal table service to our customers, the ideal person for this role will have experience working in a restaurant setting and be familiar with using tills and serving hot drinks.

Our restaurant is open 9am to 5pm, Wednesday to Sunday

Job Description

• Service - serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests' needs and requests are efficiently and effectively addressed
• Customer Service - provide excellent service by being attentive to guests' needs at every point on their customer journey. Answering questions and addressing any concerns or issues in a friendly manner
• Teamwork - collaborate with all colleagues to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support and contribute to creating an inclusive and safe working environment
• Adherence to Regulations - comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location
• Cleanliness - maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas

Qualifications

• Have a contagiouspassion for food and/or customer service
• You draw satisfaction from working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment
• Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective
• Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus
