Job summary

Grade: 2

Salary: £24,817 to £27,902 per annum (plus generous staff benefits package). Initial salary placement will normally be on the first point of the scale and will increase by annual incremental progression.

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm with a 1 hour unpaid break each day.

Location: Clydebank

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out of porter duties and provide manual labouring service. The postholder should demonstrate all-round skills with a practical approach and be methodical and attentive to detail. The successful candidate will assist the Team Leader Operations by carrying out additional general tasks such as handyperson, driving duties and undertake manual labouring tasks, such as litter picking & grounds maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements

Candidates will have a basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and have experience in a role associated with maintenance or the building trade/general labouring. The successful candidate should have a current Driving License, be able to work a flexible shift pattern and available to work out of hours when need be (i.e. for emergency response).
