General Assistant

As a General Assistant at a Barchester care home, you will support residents and staff across multiple departments, including housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and catering. Your duties will involve assisting with day‑to‑day care, maintaining a warm and homely environment, and ensuring a clean and safe living space for residents.

• Assist with housekeeping tasks such as cleaning rooms, common areas, and laundry.
• Support kitchen staff with food preparation, meal service and post‑meal cleaning.
• Help residents with daily living activities when required.
• Collaborate with care teams to create a welcoming environment.

Location: Trowbridge, Wiltshire (Postcode BA14)
Contract: Full time, 36 hours per week
Pay: £13.00 per hour

Bank Kitchen Assistant

Help to provide first‑class food and hospitality that enable the care home to deliver exceptional all‑round care and support. You will work flexible hours to cover sickness and annual leave.

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating meals.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and care teams.

Pay: £13.17 per hour
Hours: as and when required

Bank Care and Support Assistant

Deliver a high level of personalised care and support to residents, encouraging independence and active support for all. The role involves assisting with washing, dressing, bathing and other daily living activities.

• Provide practical assistance with personal care tasks.
• Encourage residents to achieve maximum autonomy within the care home.
• Support residents with activities of daily living and promote well‑being.
