A leading special school in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the administration staff across multiple campuses. You'll ensure effective communication with families, maintain safeguarding policies, and foster a welcoming environment for students. The role involves flexible working hours, requiring travel between campuses. Strong administrative and management skills in a school environment are essential for success. The position offers career development and comprehensive training programs.
BCP Salary Band 7 - appointments will be made at the starting point of the salary range. 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (term time plus inset days, and ten days during the holidays).

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and skilled Team Leader to oversee the general administration staff working across our Campuses. Our reception teams are the welcoming face of Linwood School and are absolutely central to the smooth‑running of our campuses and, particularly, to support communication with families. This is a permanent post, working 37 hours per week for 41 weeks per year (term time plus inset days, and ten days during the holidays). The role will be based at our Linwood Campus on Alma Road, Winton but the successful candidate will need to be able to travel to all of our Campuses on a regular basis. The working hours will generally be from 8am to 4pm, but some flexibility is required.
Linwood School is an ‘Outstanding’ multi‑campus, day special school for children and young people aged 3 – 19. Our students have a wide range of special educational needs including moderate (MLD), severe (SLD) and profound (PMLD) and complex learning difficulties (CLDD) and those on the Autism spectrum. We offer a variety of curriculum pathways to meet those needs and ensure that all our pupils achieve the best possible outcomes. It is essential that our students have a safe, calm and welcoming environment in which to learn.
There is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to have access to a vehicle for work purposes due to the multi‑campus working environment.
