Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced Generative AI Solution Architect to lead enterprise-scale GenAI initiatives for banking and financial services. You will design and deliver production-ready architectures, integrating LLMs, Agentic AI, and governance in complex client environments.

Based in London with hybrid work, you will partner with engineering, data, cloud, and business teams, drive architecture reviews, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and communicate with senior leaders to translate

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology, architecture, or engineering.
• Minimum 3 years delivering production GenAI solutions.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable AI architectures.
• Strong knowledge of security, risk, and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and delivery of Generative AI solutions.
• Translate requirements and regulatory considerations into scalable designs.
• Design advanced GenAI solutions (RAG, Multi-Agent Systems, Knowledge Management).
• Collaborate with engineering, data, cloud, and business teams to ensure delivery and adoption.
• Drive solution assurance across the full software development lifecycle including reviews, testing, deployment, monitoring.
• Present technical solutions to executive and technical stakeholders.
