AWS is seeking an exceptional sales and business development leader specializing in AI/ML solutions for enterprise customers across the United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the AWS AI Business for your assigned verticals and sub-industries, across UKI
  • Be a recognized voice in the AI space, both internally and externally
  • Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing domain specific sales, consulting and GTM strategies within your assigned territories leveraging AWS Sales, Technical Team and our partner ecosystem
  • Build trust with Executives, Data Science, Developers, Line of Business and C-suite leaders, combining soft skills with technical expertise to solve business problems
  • Develop and deliver compelling ROI and business cases to drive adoption of AWS Gen AI solutions, and manage complex Agentic AI transformations
  • Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in the AI domain
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions that address specific customer needs
  • Co-develop GTM motions on new product launches and collaborate with product teams on innovative new services
  • Partner with the world’s biggest system integrators and developers to deliver on customer projects
  • Spearhead market expansion by pinpointing new customer segments and Gen AI use cases
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen AWS's Gen AI value proposition
  • Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product roadmaps and enhance the customer experience
  • Drive sales efforts spanning multiple lines of business with decision-making authority and budget ownership
  • Role requires traveling up to 50% (local / international)

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience in leadership or account management positions
  • Experience directly managing scientists or machine learning engineers
  • Experience in direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives
  • Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of direct sales, pre-sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to senior stakeholders and/or C-level executives or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience selling AI/ML solutions
  • Experience in a start-up or technology company
  • Experience with presentations and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers
  • Experience in a client facing consultative role working with large, complex enterprise customers
