A major insurance company in the UK seeks a GenAI Architect to shape AI-integration in its operations. Responsibilities include defining architecture patterns, working closely with teams to deliver intelligent automation solutions, and ensuring effective use of data strategies. Candidates should have strong solution architecture experience and familiarity with Azure services. This role offers a competitive salary and hybrid working options.
It’s an exciting time to join the team at AXA, with significant investment across our UK & Ireland businesses to deliver smarter digital services and AI-powered operational excellence. We’re looking for a GenAI Architect – seasoned platform or solution architects with strong foundations in enterprise platforms and data, and a growing focus on the design and enablement of AI-powered, GenAI-enhanced, and agentic systems.
Reporting to the Head of Data Architecture, you’ll be shaping how AXA adopts and scales intelligent automation, language models, and agentic AI capabilities across both customer-facing products and internal operations. You’ll define architecture patterns, guide delivery teams, and work closely with engineering, product, and data colleagues to bring intelligent assistants, copilots, and workflow-optimising AI systems to life.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
To apply, click on the ‘apply for this job’ button, you’ll then need to log in or create a profile to submit your CV.
