Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose faults on modern Automatic, CVT, DCT, and DSG gearboxes.
  • Strip down, inspect, and rebuild gearboxes with new/replacement parts.
  • Maintain quality control and work independently.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Gearbox Technician Needed in Liverpool

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (No weekends)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience + Yearly Bonus

Our client, a specialist automotive repair centre, is currently seeking an experienced Automatic Gearbox Technician / Rebuilder to join their team in Liverpool. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose faults on modern Automatic, CVT, DCT, and DSG gearboxes
  • Strip down, inspect, and rebuild gearboxes with new/replacement parts
  • Take full ownership of each gearbox from start to finish
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and quality control
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive workshop environment
