Job description

Be a part of an exciting data transformation journey within GE Aerospace. On our Digital Technology team, you'll design, deploy and maintain technologies and systems to address the ever‑changing needs of our customers and business.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Gain hands‑on experience in IT operations, project management, data analytics and software development.
  • Work on projects to improve business processes, support IT systems and drive digital transformation.
  • Develop and lead Digital Toolsets, utilising GE Toolset applications and new Analytics tools.
  • Partner with business functions to understand requirements and translate them into operational tools.
  • Participate in digital technology development across locations such as Cardiff, Caledonian (Prestwick, Scotland), Cheltenham and Dowty (Gloucestershire).
  • Support IT services across operations, project management and data analytics streams.
  • Engage in cyber security projects covering intelligence, vulnerability management, insider threat, external threat and digital forensics.

Eligibility and Requirements

Location: Cardiff, Caledonian (Prestwick, Scotland), Cheltenham and Dowty (Gloucestershire). Candidates must obtain and maintain UK Security Clearance (SC); roles are restricted to British Nationals, or dual nationals where one nationality is British. Candidates who cannot meet clearance requirements are ineligible.

Education: Currently studying an Integrated Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Management, IT Project Management, Cyber Security, ICT or Digital Technology. 2:1 degree or above is preferred.
