Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Warrington is seeking an experienced GCSE Tutor to provide personalised GCSE tuition for local students during school hours. You will help learners build confidence, strengthen subject knowledge and prepare for exams across English, Maths and Science.

This role is part-time, with hours during weekdays in term time, starting September 2026. You will plan lessons to match individual needs, monitor progress and collaborate with schools and the wider support team to ensure

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' teaching/tutoring experience within the UK curriculum.
• Strong experience teaching GCSE-level students.
• Experience working with SEN learners is essential.
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science.
• Excellent communication and behaviour-management skills.
• QTS or relevant teaching/tutoring qualifications are desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
