Job summary

Fleet Education Services is seeking GCSE Tutors to support students in and around Nottingham (Central, West Bridgford, Mansfield, etc.) with 1:1 and small group tuition. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, monitor progress, and work with parents and schools to boost academic outcomes.

EC1: You’ll be paid via PAYE with flexible hours and ongoing CPD training to support your professional growth. Join our team to make a real difference in learners’ lives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Level 6) qualification.
  • Minimum of 6 months UK teaching or tutoring experience.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and supporting learners with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver personalised lessons that engage and progress learners.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians and schools to support learner academic success.
  • Maintain accurate session records through our virtual learning platform.

What You’ll Need To Be a Tutor

  • When registering as a Tutor with Fleet you will be listed as an Agency Worker, supporting with tuition engagements as and when they arise. Set amount of hours are not guaranteed.
  • You will work through a contract for service and will be paid via PAYE.
  • Any tuition placements you undertake with us will be covered by our insurance.
