Job summary

Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students? Do you have experience working with students with Special Educational Needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. You’ll provide personalised 1:1 support in GCSE Maths. These in-person sessions in Enfield offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

  • Hours: 1 hour per week (with potential to increase)

  • Rate of pay: £30ph
What You’ll Do
  • Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals needs and study level
  • Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of the student
  • Provide targeted support for students with SEN
  • Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Monitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you’re providing subject tuition in
  • Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
We’re looking for someone who has
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Specialist SEN training
  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Experience working withs students with cognitive learning difficulties
  • 3+ years of tutoring / teaching experience
  • An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The right to be self employed in the UK
