WALT Labs in London is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer focused on Google Cloud Platform. This on-site role (Kings Cross) requires handling cloud infra, incident management, and client-facing support while coordinating with multiple teams.

You will implement monitoring, automation, and runbooks to improve reliability. You will mentor junior engineers, drive improvements, and participate in pre-sales technical discussions as needed.

Formación

• 3–5 years experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Minimum 2 Google Cloud Professional certifications.
• Advanced Kubernetes knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Terraform and IaC tooling.
• Strong scripting abilities (Python/Go/Bash).
• Experience leading incident response and on-call.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Proven track record of process improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as L2 on-call escalation point for complex issues.
• Lead incident response and coordinate multiple teams.
• Support GCP services including networking and security.
• Administrate Google Workspace domains and security.
• Use incident.io for incident management and war rooms.
• Optimize ticket routing and workflows in JIRA.
• Monitor and tune infrastructure with Grafana and metrics.
• Lead migrations, upgrades and new service deployments.
• Create runbooks and architectural diagrams.
• Mentor Cloud Support Engineers and juniors.
• Identify process improvements to reduce resolution time.
