Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong experience in GCP and Azure to work on a hybrid basis in Corsham or Salisbury. The position is an initial 6-month contract, paying £550 per day, requiring active SC clearance. Ideal candidates must have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline development, and container orchestration, alongside scripting skills. Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Secondary experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• CI / CD pipeline development with GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Monitoring and logging skills using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Familiarity with secure DevOps practices aligned with UK Government and MoD standards.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
