Job summary

A community support organization is looking for a Personal Assistant to help a client enjoy life to the fullest. Responsibilities include light housework, shopping support, and assistance with personal care. Ideal candidates should have awareness of allergies, a clean driving license, and the ability to swim. This position requires a commitment of 10 hours per week on Thursdays and Fridays, based in Maryhill.

Qualifications

• Previous support experience is helpful but not required.
• Local to Maryhill or able to commute.
• Commitment of 10 hours per week over Thursdays & Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Light housework due to help with allergies.
• Support with shopping.
• Prepare meals for specific dietary requirements.
• Assist with showering and dressing.
• Support checking skin and applying cream.
• Help with drying/brushing hair.
• Assist with electronic correspondence when required.

Responsibilities

• Light housework due to help with allergies
• Support with shopping
• Preparing meals for specific dietary requirements
• Helping IJ with showering and dressing
• Support checking her skin and applying cream
• Support with drying/brushing her hair
• Support with electronic correspondence when required

Requirements / Qualifications

• Awareness of multi-allergies (perfumes and dust); supportive care for vision issues and limited hand mobility
• Ability to swim
• Clean driving license
• Local to Maryhill or able to commute
• Previous support experience helpful but not required
• Commitment of 10 hours per week over Thursdays & Fridays; shifts times to be agreed based on IJ’s needs
• Location: IJ’s home in Maryhill
• Hourly rate: £13.60
