Global Veterinary Careers is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon for a tech-forward practice in East London. The role offers equity in the business, an unlimited CPD budget, and a four‑day week with shared weekends.
You will operate across a cluster of clinics and work in a high‑standard, supportive environment with minimal OOH. RCVS registration and a passion for veterinary innovation are essential.
A brilliant opportunity to join a forward-thinking, people‑first veterinary group in East London — with unlimited CPD, equity in the business and a genuinely different approach to general practice.
This innovative veterinary group is built on a simple but powerful principle: create the best place for the team to work, and you create the best place for pets to be cared for. Operating across a cluster of five modern, purpose‑built clinics in East London — all a short distance from each other — the group combines neighbourhood accessibility with a well‑equipped central hub for theatre, imaging and inpatient care.
A bespoke technology platform has been built specifically to cut down admin time, and a dedicated digital care team supports patients between visits — meaning vets can focus on what they do best. Strong client relationships are genuinely central to how the practice operates, with clients able to message the team at any time and even stay with their pets during procedures.
This is a full‑time, permanent position working a 4‑day week with weekends shared fairly and no routine out‑of‑hours. The role is a mixed GP position split between consulting across all five clinics and operating and inpatient care based at the central hub.
The practice operates with a high RVN‑to‑vet ratio and clear workflow between clinics and hub, with structured schedules designed to give the team time to recharge. There is real scope to develop interests in surgery, medicine or imaging.
East London is one of the most vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing parts of the capital, with a thriving independent food, arts and culture scene. Hackney and the surrounding area is well served by the Overground, with fast connections across the city, and the Elizabeth line at nearby stations provides excellent links to central London and beyond. The area has a fantastic community feel and offers considerably more affordable living than many other parts of London — making it a great place to both work and live.
They are looking for an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of general practice experience, who is confident in routine soft tissue surgery and enjoys both consulting and surgical work. A compassionate communicator who acts with integrity and is genuinely excited by the idea of doing things differently in veterinary care.
