Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Senior Risk Operations professional to join the GBM Risk Operating Unit. You will partner with the second line to enhance risk measurement, oversee issue/events management, and drive remediation across global markets.

You will prepare senior-level risk reports, influence governance decisions, and contribute to the Enterprise Risk Management Framework tooling and methodologies. A strong risk mindset and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the Financial Services / Banking industry.
• Solid knowledge & experience in the Financial Industry.
• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills for risk management.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Issue, Events and RCSA processes for GBM, identifying and remediation of issues and risks.
• Challenge business units on completeness and accuracy of risk processes.
• Collaborate with Second and Third line teams (Compliance, Internal Audit) for alignment.
• Prepare risk reports and presentations for senior management and governance committees.
• Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management Framework tooling and best practices.
• Advise lines on risk mitigation and ensure remediation actions are effective.
• Drive projects to improve operational risk tooling and frameworks.
• Support remediation programs across Global Banking and Markets with senior leadership.
