The opportunity

To support the development and execution of EY’s supplier and sourcing strategy for Managed Learning Services, contributing to a high‑performing supply chain that enhances client outcomes, fosters innovation, and optimises operational costs through effective procurement solutions.

Key responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of the MLS sourcing strategy across a portfolio of suppliers.
  • Support the establishment and management of strategic partnerships with key suppliers to drive value creation.
  • Help introduce and integrate AI and automation into sourcing workflows to enhance efficiency and decision‑making.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in sourcing and supplier management practices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring supplier delivery aligns with contractual and service expectations.
  • Utilise internal systems, such as ServiceNow, to optimise data and supplier performance reporting.
  • Collaborate with risk, legal, and commercial teams to support supplier contracts and risk management efforts.
  • Identify opportunities for cost‑saving initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Assist in sourcing solutions for new client opportunities and bids.
  • Oversee and manage strategic and critical supplier relationships to drive high performance and develop mutually beneficial goals.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management within a complex and regulated environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage supplier and client relationships effectively.
  • Understanding of operational and third‑party risk frameworks.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, in procurement and supply chain contexts.
  • Team leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Experience with digital platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Coupa, SAP Ariba) is desirable.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed consulting or services environment.
To qualify for the role
  • Degree‑qualified or equivalent experience.
  • MCIPS certification is desirable but not essential.
  • Project or programme management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2) are a bonus.
