Our customer hubs and sales operations aim for excellence in customer service and reduced admin operations, as we move to a data driven culture and bring new digital technologies. Our commercial and marketing teams are striving to deliver world class commercially focussed strategies for our brands and customers. You will be accountable for the successful delivery of technology initiatives that enable the commercial agenda in GB. You will partner with sales, marketing and/or commercial leaders to understand their strategy and shape the process and technology change initiatives that will realise the vision. For each initiative, you will ensure value is understood and realised, facilitate cross-team collaboration, and oversee technical delivery quality.

Typical Day and Responsibilities
  • Translating a business opportunity into a discrete set of initiatives
  • Reviewing and documenting requirements, epics or user stories for a new tool
  • Leading workshops to understand and capture our interactions with customers
  • Determining and sharing GB commercial needs with product owners and other BPT business partners to ensure they are included in the product roadmap
  • Collaborating with solutions and service teams to provide guidance on priorities, understanding status, removing impediments
  • Defining a new business process to make our ways of working more efficient and customer centric
  • Influencing the business on a best course of action to resolve a technology need
  • Bringing agile ways of working into business initiatives
  • Challenging an executive on the business value of a new idea
  • Shadowing the commercial sales support team, or a fields sales rep to understand their needs
  • Scoping a pilot to use latest technologies to bring competitive advantage capabilities to a business with Big Data, bots, AI or IoT
Qualifications
  • Worked in or closely to a commercial organisation
  • Understanding and passion for service design and customer experience
  • Understanding of project management and agile practices
  • Working on sales, data or change related projects and initiatives.
  • Understanding of a mobile sales force
  • Defining and documenting business processes
  • Contact centre excellence through process and technology
  • Implementation of sales operations effectiveness programs
  • Business Case definition and value driven mind-set
  • Driven people and culture change with positive results
  • Stakeholder engagement and management across the organisation
  • Conflict management
  • Facilitating and leading workshops to determine business requirements
  • Managing benefits realisation processes and change adoption
  • May have worked in industries: Pharma, CPG, FMCG, Retail
  • At least 5-7 years in a similar position with demonstrable impact
