Job description

ITS Building People are looking for an experienced Gate person / Traffic Marshall to assist our client on a busy project based in Aylesbury. There will be a steady flow of deliveries, so we are looking for someone with experience to direct the deliveries to the correct part of the site.

Start Date: 5th January 2026; Start Date: Immediate; Job Type: Temporary; Duration: Long Term; Industry: Construction Trades; Location: Aylesbury.

Own transport would be beneficial to get round Oxford, but public transport is available near this project.

This Gate person / Traffic Marshall contract will be ongoing, with hours being 07:30 – 4:30, Monday – Friday, with the possibility of weekend overtime if wanted.

Daily Responsibilities

• Looking after the entrance to site
• To have a Traffic Banksman Ticket
• Completing basic paperwork for each delivery
• Directing deliveries through site
• Site Clearance and general tidying in your area of the gate
• Cabin on site

Requirements

• A Valid CSCS
• A Valid Traffic Banksman Ticket (not essential but preferred)
• The ability to perform physical manual labour
• Must have a hard‑hat, work boots and HI‑Viz vest
