Job summary

MadiganGill are recruiting for a Gateman at HMP Guys Marsh (Yeovil). The role requires a CPCS card, EL1 clearance (or eligibility to apply), and provision of full PPE (hard hat, boots, hi‑vis & goggles). You should be reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team, with strong communication skills. This is a full-time position.

Applicants should have relevant experience in a similar role and a positive, vigilant attitude towards site security and access control.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid CPCS card.
• EL1 clearance required, if you do not have one you can still apply for the job and also apply for the EL1.
• Have full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, boots, hi-vis & goggles.
• Have previous experience in a similar role - be reliable, hard-working and punctual.
• Have good communication skills and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
