• Minimum of 1 year driving experience.
• Live within one hour of the depot.

• Guide traffic in and out of the site.
• Close roads in accordance with site requirements.
• Marshal pedestrians.
• Ensure planting equipment is moved safely around the site.

Job Summary

Our expertise and service levels ensure we fulfil contracts to the highest standard of quality and safety. We are currently recruiting for Gate Operatives for a major contract that we have recently won. The position is Monday to Friday, with work usually taking place between the hours of 6am and 6pm. Overtime in the evenings and on weekends is also available. This is a flexible 6-month initial contract, with the possibility to become part of our permanent team.

Responsibilities

• Meet all site traffic to direct appropriately
• Guide traffic in and out of the site
• Close roads in accordance with site requirements
• Marshal pedestrians
• Ensure planting equipment is moved safely around the site
• This role does not include any on-call/emergency work

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and individuals will be expected to perform different tasks as required by the overall business objectives as the role continues to evolve and grow.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Minimum 1 year driving experience
• Live within one hour of the depot
• Be able to pass a Drug & Alcohol test
• Ideally holds a Streetworks Ticket or TTMBC (ideal, not essential)
