Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust is seeking a Nurse Specialist/Team Leader to act as the clinical expert and professional resource within their speciality service. You will lead a multi-professional team, manage complex caseloads and oversee nurse-led clinics to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires extensive autonomous expertise, strong leadership, and a commitment to ongoing professional development within the NHS.

Qualificações

• Registered nurse or midwife with a health-related degree or equivalent.
• Professional development with Masters level equivalence via specialist training.
• Teaching qualification or equivalent teaching experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop high level clinical decision making and improve care standards within advanced scope.
• Lead clinical care by managing a patient caseload with assessment, planning and evaluation.
• Coordinate and manage nurse-led clinics within the specialty/service.
• Support multi-professional approach in patient management including discharge planning.
• Promote information sharing to enable self-management and involvement in care.
• Support and encourage the team with innovative case management models.
• Work with Matron to develop nurses undertaking the CNO Ten Key Roles, e.g., Nurse Prescribing.
