Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant to join its Gastroenterology team across Epsom and St Helier sites. You will undertake outpatient clinics including Two-Week Rule assessments and Endoscopy sessions, with a flexible job plan and potential PA allocations.

The post supports development of gastroenterology services, teaching and research while aligning with Trust governance and development strategies.

Responsibilities

• Show dynamism and flexibility in reshaping gastroenterology services with Clinical Leads and Medicine Director.
• Provide first-class clinical service to Trust patients.
• Offer leadership and support to medical staff, allied health professionals, management and support staff.
• Support teaching and research within relevant clinical areas.
• Work within Trust policies, governance framework and contractual requirements.
• Participate in development plans and annual appraisals.
