Job summary

A healthcare recruitment agency is seeking a Gastroenterology Consultant for a full-time locum position within the NHS in Scotland. The role starts ASAP and runs until January 2026. The consultant will work Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00, with the possibility of nights and weekend shifts. Applicants must hold GMC SPECIALIST registration, an Enhanced DBS check, and the right to work in the UK. Strong support and flexible opportunities are offered during this assignment.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Gastroenterology consultant to work with an NHS Trust in Scotland. This is a full time locum position with proposed working hours of Mon-Fri, 09:00 – 17:00.

The role is set to begin ASAP and will be ongoing until 9/01/26. Please note that this position is inside IR35.

Day, night, weekend and on call shifts available. Monday – Friday 0900 – 1700 with one on call during the week (1:4/5 weekend on call)

To be eligible, you must have GMC SPECIALIST registration, Enhanced DBS, Right to work in the UK and hold a PVG.
