The Gastroenterology team at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our developing Gastroenterology service.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established ACP to develop their specialist knowledge and skills within Gastroenterology, contributing to the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective patient care.

The successful candidate will work across a range of gastroenterology services, supporting outpatient clinics, including haemochromatosis and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), as well as providing clinical support to the Gastroenterology ward.

The role will offer opportunities to broaden clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with a variety of gastroenterological conditions.As the service continues to develop, the role is likely to evolve into a position focused primarily on the Gastroenterology ward, supporting the delivery of high-quality inpatient care and contributing to the ongoing development of the service.If you are an established ACP looking for an opportunity to develop your specialist expertise, influence service development and make a meaningful difference to patient outcomes, we would welcome your application., The post holder will work as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. An ACP is an experienced practitioner with decision making autonomy, responsibility and accountability. They will demonstrate a high degree of clinical autonomy and complex clinical decisions within their specialist field utilising evidence-based practice. ACPs will contribute to the leadership, development and supervision of others. The post holder is expected to take responsibility, provide care and make clinical decisions is accordance with agreed clinical pathways of care and proficiency of own skill and speciality set.

The post holder will hold a master's qualification or undertaken an ePortfolio to evidence working at an advanced level. You will have completed speciality specific competencies for the role.

The post holder must be able to work independently within the four pillars of advanced practice which include clinical practice, management and leadership, education and research.
