Job description

Mitsubishi Power Europe is a global leader in advanced energy solutions. We're looking for a passionate and experienced Technical Advisor / Supervisor to join our Field Service Support Team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting‑edge Gas Turbine Steam Turbine Generator and large rotating plant technologies directly at the heart of our customers power facilities.

As a key member of our Field Service team you will:
  • Lead and supervise maintenance and outage activities for gas turbines and associated equipment ensuring quality safety and timely completion.
  • Plan and coordinate outage manpower, identify critical paths, and ensure seamless execution.
  • Interpret technical documents and drawings to oversee disassembly, inspection and assembly of turbines and related equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement by developing and reviewing procedures, documentation packages and quality control processes.
  • Support steam turbine and generator teams on outages as required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise gas turbine, steam turbine, generator and auxiliary equipment outages ensuring work is completed safely on time and to Mitsubishi Power standards.
  • Plan and coordinate all outage activities including manpower, tooling, parts logistics, and critical path schedules.
  • Interpret and apply technical drawings, procedures and specifications during disassembly, inspection and reassembly.
  • Implement and monitor quality control and safety standards throughout project execution.
  • Review inspection and disassembly data and provide technical recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Develop and improve field procedures, documentation packages and outage execution processes.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management providing timely updates and reports.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians contributing to a positive team culture and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • 4 years experience in the power plant sector (gas turbines, steam turbines, generators or large rotating plant).
  • Time-served apprenticeship in Power Industry Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong English communication skills (mandatory).
  • Proficiency in standard office software.
  • Proven experience in team leadership, budgeting control, HSE compliance and quality assurance.
