Job summary

United Living Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee regional gas terminal projects in the Norwich area, ensuring delivery on safety, time, cost, quality and client satisfaction.

You will lead on site, develop delivery plans, manage risk and commercial aspects with NEC contracts, and travel weekly as required. A strong HSQE focus and driving license are essential, with experience in large fabrication and heavy civil works preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be an experienced Project Manager with Gas experience and ability to manage site works from delivery, HSQE and commercial perspectives.
• Commercial and programming awareness; experience with NEC form of contract.
• Site management safety certificate (SMSTS / IOSH Managing Safely).
• Proven track record delivering projects from start to finish.
• Willing to travel weekly with lodging where required; full UK driving licence.
• Experience in large mechanical fabrication and heavy civil works is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for successful management of projects, attending pre-start meetings and devising a strategic programme of works.
• Prepare and manage the Project Delivery Plan and short-term programmes; adjust with Contracts Manager as needed.
• Own responsibility for design, safety, quality, resource planning, programme and commercial management.
• Manage contractual obligations and rights under the contract terms.
• Lead HSQ&E efforts, attend safety meetings, develop safety plans and audit compliance.
• Ensure adequate staffing, strong two-way communication and high team morale; support opportunity/risk management.
• Coordinate with Commercial team to align commercial and operations; notify client of out-of-scope work.
