Job summary

Bdht is seeking a Gas Services Engineer to service, repair and maintain gas appliances across its housing stock. You will perform landlord safety checks, ensure compliance with Gas Safety regs, and communicate safety messages to residents.

The role is hands-on, customer-facing and requires independent work across Bromsgrove area. Applicants should hold NVQ Level 2/3 and ACS CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, have a valid driving licence and be prepared for a Basic DBS check.

Qualifications

• Gas engineer with NVQ2/3 and ACS CCN1/CENWAT/CPA1/CKR1/HTR1
• Experience in a similar role with strong health and safety awareness
• Valid driving licence required and DBS Basic check

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas appliance servicing and landlord safety checks with certification
• Diagnose and repair faults with focus on first-time fixes
• Communicate clearly with residents on safe appliance use
• Manage workload across Bromsgrove and surrounding areas
